A chance meeting at the NPR station in Murray, Kentucky quickly blossomed into conversations that lasted for hours and a relationship that will endure for a lifetime. Upon explaining their first meeting, Bec explained, "I tripped out the door after the first time I saw him. I thought, 'I can't believe this person actually exists.' "
Bec and Drew are made for each other--they are perfectly complimentary.
This wedding has personal significance for me as well. I've known Bec since she was a very young girl. Her older sister, Lauren, has been one of my best friends for over 15 years. In fact, Lauren was the maid of honor in my own wedding 10 years ago.
It has been wonderful to watch Bec grow up and even more wonderful to know that she's found her perfect match in Drew.
A special bonus at this wedding: I got to dance with the groom!
This wedding took place in Propsect, Kentucky, a suburb town of Louisville, at the Gingerwoods Event Center. The outside wedding was wonderful; the marriage covenant made between Bec and Drew was perfect.
