It is such a pleasure and honor to share Miss Kaitlin Hatchett's senior pictures. Miss Hatchett will be graduating from Texas Tech this month. I had the privilege of teaching her freshman music theory and it has been a joy to watch her develop into a confident leader and musician. I wish her the best as she begins her future endeavors.

Lubbock, TX Wedding Photographer ~ Gingerwoods Event Center ~ Prospect, KY ~ Rebecca and Drew

It was love at first sight for Rebecca and Drew. A chance meeting at the NPR station in Murray, Kentucky quickly blossomed into conversations that lasted for hours and a relationship that will endure for a lifetime. Upon explaining their first meeting, Bec explained, "I tripped out the door after the first time I saw him. I thought, 'I can't believe this person actually exists.' "

Bec and Drew are made for each other--they are perfectly complimentary.

This wedding has personal significance for me as well. I've known Bec since she was a very young girl. Her older sister, Lauren, has been one of my best friends for over 15 years. In fact, Lauren was the maid of honor in my own wedding 10 years ago. 

It has been wonderful to watch Bec grow up and even more wonderful to know that she's found her perfect match in Drew. 

A special bonus at this wedding: I got to dance with the groom! 

This wedding took place in Propsect, Kentucky, a suburb town of Louisville, at the Gingerwoods Event Center. The outside wedding was wonderful; the marriage covenant made between Bec and Drew was perfect.

Lubbock, Texas Wedding Photographer ~ Henryville, Indiana ~ Mr. and Mrs. Bridges

I had the absolute pleasure of travelling to Henryville, Indiana for the wedding of Jeff and Claire. In the midst of a rainy week, their wedding day was perfect--not only because it was sunny, but because Jeff and Claire are perfect for each other. The obvious joy on their faces, the love in their eyes indicate a deep relationship that will last as long as they live. 

The wedding took place on family property. The day ended with the release of floating lanterns into the sky.

Mr. Aaron Kaswen is in his first year as graduate voice student at Texas Tech. He moved to Lubbock from Florida where he was an undergraduate at the University of Miami. Mr. Kaswen was a lot of fun to photograph with all the personality that you would expect from a vocal performance major. It is my pleasure to share Mr. Kaswen's headshots:

Miss Jackie Stevens is smart, beautiful, and talented. I had the privelege of having Miss Stevens as a student in my music theory class several years ago and she is everything you would expect from an "A" student. She made me smile every day with her understanding and her work ethic. 

Additionally, You should hear Miss Stevens sing! She has the most beautiful, crystal clear soprano voice. She was a featured soloist at the 2012 Texas Music Educators Association Convention (TMEA) and played the role of "Despina" in Texas Tech's production of "Cosi Fan Tutte" this past spring.
