It was such a joy to photograph Ms. Smith. I've known her for many years now--she actually lives in another town now, but got to come back to Lubbock for a friend's wedding and I got to catch up with her and take her pictures. Since graduating from Texas Tech, Ms. Smith has earned a Master's Degree in violin at the University of Houston. She is incredibly talented and a joy to know. It's 2014-- Lauren and Craig's wedding year! I am so excited to be able to share their wedding day with them later this summer and am also thrilled to be able to share their enagagement session. They are going to have a 1930s wedding theme--perfect for this classically beautiful couple.

The Caerus Ensemble is a non-profit musical organization dedicated to performing concerts for indivudals in need of the healing power of music. The organization performs for children with disabilities, the elderly, and others in need. The organization combines the *extreme* musical talents of co-founders Jeffrey Lastrapes, cello and Susanna Self, flute (check out Mr. Lastrapes' review in Fanfare magazine). Dr. Self has a background in musical therapy in addition to extensive performance experience. The marriage of music and healing is perfect for this pair of performers. 

The heart that these two have for those in need shines through their musical talent. The Caerus Ensemble is a great asset to the Lubbock Community.

It is such a pleasure and honor to share Miss Kaitlin Hatchett's senior pictures. Miss Hatchett will be graduating from Texas Tech this month. I had the privilege of teaching her freshman music theory and it has been a joy to watch her develop into a confident leader and musician. I wish her the best as she begins her future endeavors.

Senior Miriam Nelson is a beautiful singer and a beautiful soul. She graduates soon and will begin post-college life with faith that she will be guided to where she needs to be. She carries with her the confidence that she will be directed to what she needs to be doing. Blessed with the gift of singing and a servant's heart, I expect her to do great things for the world.
