Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:14AM Miss Kenzie Gardner performs. She acts and dances and is ready to make a move across the country in order to pursue her passion for the stage. Of course, any person headed into a performance career needs headshots in order to make her first impression as memorable as possible. I'm happy to present Miss Gardner's headshots:
Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 1:27PM Mr. Gregory Brookes is currently a visiting assistant professor of voice in the Texas Tech School of Music. He has received a Master's degree in voice performance from the Eastman School of Music and is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Music in voice from Indiana University. Mr. Brookes' voice credentials go well with what we expect of a voice professor. Interestingly, though, Mr. Brookes has a BM in clarinet performance from the University of Calgary. He was a clarinetist throughout his undergraduate college career before getting accepted as a Master's student in voice at the prestigious Eastman School of Music. Things like that don't happen very often. It is readily apparent to me that Mr. Brookes' has a love of the stage and has the charisma and charm that lends itself to a successful vocal career. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1:49PM It was a pleasure to take pictures for Dr. Carla Davis Cash, a piano and piano pedagogy professor at Texas Tech. Dr. Cash is an asset to Texas Tech as a musician, a teacher, and as a colleague. In addition to her professional schedule, Dr. Cash is also a wife and a mother of two young boys. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 12:26PM Miss Amelia Mercer graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor's degree last month. Amazingly, she completed her degree in 3 1/2 years and, much to the happiness of her parents, already has a job!
I got to meet with the Mercer family on Amelia's graduation day shortly before the ceremony. Even the blowing dust and wind couldn't dampen the spirits of this family, which was decked out in Texas Tech attire. Below are some pictures from our session:
